Globalization

If you haven't seen it, you may find Dani Rodrik's blog on "The Death of the Globalization Consensus" of interest.  I'd say it is part of a bigger rethinking of the so-called "Washington Consensus" and free marketarian Friedmanite policies.  It's much needed, though the new "answers" aren't obvious.  As Rodrik concludes, it's time for a new Keynes who can find a balanced state-private approach to market regulation and economic growth that works for these times.
