From Mark Thoma, a Kwak comment on the way each of the GOP candidates' tax proposals would add much bigger holes to the deficit than anything Obama proposes, while simultaneously contributing to the obscene inequality in this country by rewarding the rich with large tax cuts (and in most cases shifting the burden to those who can least bear it). Class warfare on the campaign trail is most represented by these redistributionist proposals for making the rich richer and the poor poorer.
