According to the statement, Gomez owned and operated businesses that, among other things, sold automobile body parts and stamped metal. In 2004, he allegedly created Bullrush Overseas Ltd., a British Virgin Islands corporation, and owned and controlled a bank account at UBS AG in the name of Bullrush.Between August 2006 and December 2007, Gomez made deposits, including business receipts for Venezuelan corporations, in his UBS account totaling approximately $1.88 million. For 2006 and 2007, the highest balance of assets he owned and controlled offshore at UBS AG was $1.41 million, the statement said. Id.
